Service With A Smile
Example Work
  • The aim of packaging is to sell a product.
  • Check out the example below, which sells the teacher Mr. Service:

  • Think about this box, and answer the following questions for yourself:
    • Which teacher do you want to sell (they do not need to be at your current school)?
    • How can you get a photo of this teacher on a plain background?
    • What features make your chosen teacher special?
    • What elements need to be designed into packaging (product name, product image, warnings, etc)? This is important in making your package as realistic as possible.
    • Why is the top panel of the box upside down?
  • Once you have the answers, you are ready to get started.

  2. Get the photo of your teacher, and remove the background (Magic Wand and Instant Alpha tools are useful here).
  3. Add the photo of your teacher to your box.
  4. Add other essential information to your box, trying to make it as realistic as possible.
