Blind and Continuous Line Drawing
- Blind Contour drawing is lines that are drawn without looking at the paper, it lets you really observe the object that you’re drawing
- Continuous line drawing is produced without lifting the drawing instrument of the paper. This means that the drawing instrument must move back and forth in order to add a form to the drawing.
- Complete these in about 60 seconds, they don’t have to be perfect because the point of these line drawings is to observe.
Blind and Continuous Line Drawing - this link can provide you with some more information on this technique if you want. Read the first section on blind contour drawing, then scroll down to the section on continuous line drawing.
